Sumol Compal took part in the 4th Brands Congress, organised by Centromarca, which brought together more than 800 representatives from industry and retail in Portugal.
In the panel "At the Speed of the Market", Diogo Dias, CEO of Sumol Compal, moderated a discussion with Paula Jordão, Head of Commercial CPG at Sonae MC, and Alexandra Borges, Chief Purchasing Officer at Lidl, on the main challenges and trends shaping the food retail sector.
Throughout the debate, topics included evolving consumer demands, the role of brands in creating shared value with retailers, and the criteria that retailers consider most relevant for products to be listed on their shelves.
Aligned with the congress theme, "At Human Speed", the panel highlighted the growing importance of collaborative relationships between industry and retail in addressing future market challenges.
