Sumol Compal strengthens its commitment to innovation and product development by inaugurating a new laboratory at its Almeirim factory. In addition, the initiative includes strategic partnerships within the scope of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), enabling the company to integrate innovative solutions and reinforce its competitiveness in the sector. This advancement marks an important step in modernizing the Almeirim factory, consolidating Sumol Compal’s position as a benchmark in Portugal’s beverage industry.

The inauguration featured two key moments: the first emphasized internal recognition and pride with a celebratory toast, while the second welcomed members of the PRRVIIAFOOD Agenda consortium and included tastings of prototypes that reimagined fruit utilization—offering new applications, textures, and sensory experiences.
