Today, on World Food Day, the Compal Day is celebrated at Maria de Fátima Correia Baessa School in Santa Cruz, Cape Verde, with the theme “Studying is Really Natural.”

With the aim of increasing family involvement with the school, promoting the development of healthy habits and lifestyles, and providing a positive and sustainable learning environment, Compal and FICASE have been united for 16 years in a partnership that has already impacted more than 31,000 children.

Today’s event involves around 500 children, aged 6 to 16, and the program includes: a lecture on healthy eating, the rehabilitation of classrooms, the creation of a recreational space, and the improvement of five sports fields to encourage school sports.

This initiative reinforces our commitment to actively promoting nutrition, hydration, and well-being in society and encouraging healthy eating habits.

According to Ana Barros, Brand Manager, “We proudly invested this year in the first school rehabilitation with the painting of classrooms, creating a recreational space, and giving a new look to the sports field.”
