The Sumol Summer Fest, a festival promoted by Sumol Compal and organized by Música no Coração, welcomed thousands of festival-goers, where Sports, Art, and Dance joined Music.

Also joining the festival was a network of partners committed to minimizing the environmental impact of the event and enhancing the relationship with the local community that so generously welcomed us:

♻️ Amarsul - Ecoevent Seal Amarsul was responsible for the management of packaging waste and awareness actions among concessionaires. By adopting measures to reduce the ecological footprint, Amarsul awarded us the Ecoevent seal.

🎒 Sociedade Ponto Verde – Awareness for Recycling The Sociedade Ponto Verde enhanced the venue with structures that facilitate the identification of recycling points. Dozens of backpackers raised awareness among festival-goers with a quiz and a camper kit.

🌊 Brigada do Mar – Donation and Collection of Cups For each cup collected at the 3 points scattered throughout the venue, a donation was made to the Brigada do Mar. This collection also allowed for the recovery, washing, and reuse of the cups.

🎨 World Academy - Urban Art Mural As part of an urban art project, 5 students from World Academy PT illustrated a mural at the venue, under the guidance of artist Tâmara Alves.

🍽️ Refood Almada – Fighting Food Waste At the end of each night, Refood Almada collected the festival’s food surplus to distribute it among the most vulnerable local community.
